A Palestinian-American youth having endured 270 days in Israeli detention without charge was released.

Mohammed Ibrahim had just turned 15 during his detention in February within the occupied West Bank, where he was visiting from his Florida home accused of stone-throwing toward Israeli settlers, claims he consistently denied.

United States authorities expressed satisfaction with the teenager's freedom.

Mohammed, now 16, needed medical care upon gaining freedom, relatives told the media.

They said he is visibly pale and thin, and is suffering from conditions contracted in captivity.

Through an official statement, the youth's uncle spoke of the family's "tremendous relief".

Family member Zeyad Kadur said the family had been "enduring a dreadful, continuous nightmare" throughout the past nine months.

"At this moment, we are focused on ensuring Mohammed receives the immediate medical attention he needs after experiencing harsh conditions and cruel circumstances throughout his detention."

American authorities said it would continue to provide consular support for the Ibrahim family.

{"American leadership gives utmost importance than the safety and security of US citizens"," officials stated.

Several congressional representatives had signed a letter to diplomatic officials and the White House, demanding more be done to secure his release.

The father, with four children who runs an ice cream business in Florida, previously claimed his son only confessed regarding stone throwing because the soldiers beat him.

He had not seen or spoken to Mohammed since February, learning information solely about his son's condition in detention through court documents.

The teenager remained lacking indictment within Ofer penitentiary on the West Bank.

The facility also contains mature inmates, including individuals found guilty regarding severe security violations and murder.

Approximately 350 Palestinian child security detainees detained within Israeli facilities, based on prison authority data.

Several lack formal charges while advocacy organizations, and international organizations, report instances of mistreatment and torture.

After the teenager's freedom, Mr Kadur said relatives would persist in advocating demanding accountability for their family member their cousin Sayfollah.

This young American-Palestinian who the Palestinian health ministry said died from beating by Israeli settlers during a confrontation in July.

Initially, military authorities reported officials were investigating accounts of a Palestinian had been killed.

The two cousins collaborated at their family's ice cream business from Tampa.

No one has been charged for the cousin's murder.

"We anticipate the American government to safeguard our relatives," the uncle stated.
