Mohamed Salah Issues Apology to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones

The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that Salah said sorry to the entire Liverpool squad in the wake of the uproar from his recent interview.

He was omitted from a European match after voicing frustrations and claiming his relationship with manager had soured.

“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I apologise.’”

Arne Slot has refused to disclose on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.

He emphasized that the team's response remained positive. “He was his usual self, his demeanour was positive and it was business as usual,” Jones added.

He also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is less of an issue. “I understand there are certain ways you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

The team's performance have stayed unbeaten in the matches since the initial controversy. The player is convinced the Salah's words were never meant to cause disruption.

“In moments of frustration, it’s always been from a desire to win,” Jones concluded. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, playing well and starting to win games.”
