Incredible $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are multiple package options available here.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
