At long last viewers can commence: initial five minutes of Stranger Things 5 shared.

The fifth installment of the streaming giant's paranormal smash hit Stranger Things is set to be one of the biggest releases of 2024. The first part premieres on 27 November, but a preview of the eerie first five minutes has been made public online.

The Crawl: A Return to the 1980s

The episode, titled The Crawl, transports viewers back to the start of the show in the early '80s, in the wake of the vanishing of Will Byers.

"What should I do—stay or go?" the character hums while attempting to stay collected in the parallel world.

Events swiftly escalate into horrifying the moment a demogorgon appears and yanks the boy to the stronghold of the villain. "Finally, our work can start," he tells Will as propelling a tendril into his mouth. "We together, we shall create truly magnificent deeds as one."

Broadcast Dates and Big Screen Events

Part two of the ultimate installment is scheduled to premiere on the day after Christmas, while the last chapter out on the first of January – which will also be shown in specific theaters.

The summary reads: "The season of the late '80s. The town bears the marks by the opening of gateways, and the protagonists join forces by one objective: locate and eliminate the enemy. But his location is unknown – his location and plans a mystery. Complicating their mission, authorities has enforced Hawkins under armed isolation and intensified the search for the character, forcing her back into hiding. While the yearly mark of Will's disappearance approaches, so does a profound, known fear. The last showdown is approaching – and accompanying it, an evil more powerful and more deadly than anything they have encountered in the past. To end this terror, they will require all members – the complete team – side by side, one last time."

Production Insights

The surprise clip was uploaded to YouTube after the series' Hollywood event a few days ago, with appearances from cast members including the lead actress and David Harbour.

"The size of the season is larger … There is more excitement and more special effects, but it is additionally easily the most heartfelt part because it's the end of the story for each of these personas," the production's head writer, recently said about the last chapters.

The other creator and collaborator, stated: "Bringing it out in the world is nerve-racking, but we feel equipped to finally show it."
