Assassin's Creed Reveals Surprising AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving

In a bizarre crossover event that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the official release, "A strange meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations resonate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret group.

The mission concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Extra Material

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana together with numerous objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This update also brings the game's third complimentary story addition, titled "A Puzzlement."
